Isn't the Focus RS possibly coming to the states? I don't remember if it was confirmed or not. I wonder if Honda is seeing if the RS is successful here--if so, I wonder if we would see the type R come here.

Regardless of whether the track times are fabricated I think Honda really put a lot of development into this car. A bit sad we probably won't get one in North America, but maybe we'll see a few thinks come over to the Si or maybe Acura will have a sporty car again.

I don't know what car it will be powering but it's worth noting.

Yes it is. I really meant counter-steer. Usually FWD cars (for the track) are setup quite loose because loose-is-fast but clearly this thing still has a non-track specific setup as illustrated by tight corner entry. However it did surprisingly well putting the power down on corner exit.

It looks great and #'s are awesome. If it comes here, I'm putting a deposit down! Been waiting for a cool looking 2-door hatch. If not, I'll find a clean ek or eg shell and slip a k20 in it. I'm sure reaching 300hp in a k20 is easily achievable and cheaper than buying a new type R.

I live in a medium size city where 90% of the time you're on the streets you're not exceeding 45mph. and there are soo many lights you have no choice but to be light on the gas.
