I mean technically it is safer but the difference would be people in groups of 5-15 vs 15-150+ in an area. But you know, our freedom is being taken away because we have to wear masks. So you cant expect people to listen regardless -___-

Well, "our freedom" was taken away when we were required (in most places) to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle and we got past that. I reckon we should be able to get past wearing a mask for a few months -

I personally have never ridden without a helmet, even if just moving a motorcycle around a parking lot, but there's a large contingent of riders that feel differently. Same with seat belts. I've never not worn one, even before it was the law. As the Bell helmet ads used to say "If you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet". I'll let you figure out what that says about someone that doesn't want to wear one. Now that said, I'm a little conflicted on whether it should be mandated by law.
