They are really tricky. They go from fine to totally not fine so quickly. The FFB is kinda meh in GT7 so it is more difficult to feel what the car is doing. Aren't you on controller?

The Vulcan is an absolute monster. One of my favorites too. The Grand Tour Review or Top Gear are absolute gold.

Thanks for trying, but in my hands your tune felt just as bad as what I've managed. Horrible mid to high speed turn in (just plows) and a loose rear end at high speed sweepers. My lap times with your tune were about the same, 2:23's. And those are not good times. I can turn 2:23s with cars set to 700 PP, not 740 (for some reason my car, even with your tune, has a significantly higher PP than yours).

I have a hard time with Spa still. Those two long left turns slow me down way too much.

hmmmm, I wasn't really getting too much understeer, but I did build it into the tune to try to compensate for how loose the rear end is. Maybe bring the braking sensitivity on the LSD down all the way to 5, and see how much better, if any, it improves on the mid speed turns. I'm assuming it's understeering while coasting or decelerating? Can add some toe-out to the front to help with turn in, but to me, the car will be too twitchy for my driving style with better turn in.

Wow, took the Nismo R32 I tuned to 709.44 PP on RH tires and got a 2:20.1 lap after 3 laps. Is the swapped FD really that bad?

The new TT at Sarthe in the GR1’s is fun. I have been running it in the 962, wish it was at night. I am into silver right now, I’d really like to gold this one.

I did it with the 787B. Can't remember what my time was or which modal I'm currently in.

I've done that with the LSD (even swapped back to the non-adjustable LSD - which INCREASES your PP, haha) and it just makes the car too twitchy.

Yes, its really that bad. However, comparing RWD to AWD isn't really fair.

I set my silver time last night with the Silver Arrow (Sauber C9). Had to beat Laz by a few tenths I'm wondering if I can go faster with another car. The Sauber gets up to 215ish on the longest straights, and seems pretty quick through the turns. I took out my Nissan RC92P and that thing flies! 227 on the longest straights. Felt the same as the Sauber through turns. Was shocked to set slower times with it! Must be slower in turns than I thought. Also more wheelspin issues out of slower turns could be hurting those times. Wish I could overlay my Sauber ghost while running the Nissan.

The fastest times on the global board are with the C9. I tried using the Nissan GT-R LM but the way the hybrid deploys you just get crazy wheelspin on acceleration up through 3rd gear. It's like an Ozzy burnout car. I tried the Toyota GR010 but it is kinda slow on the straights. The 962 consistently nets me the best lap times out of the GR1 cars I own, but it is slow through corners like Indy and the Porsche Curves, also have to brake earlier.

You can overlay the other ghost but you have to save best lap replay with the C9 when you are done, then when you go into a new session you can select load ghost and select that replay.

Haha, so I'm guessing I got a silver medal then.

I think I tried it with a rented Sauber, but went slower than the 787B for some reason. Maybe cuz it was the only time I've ever used that car.

Yeah, I'll try it with the R92CP and see what times I get, and maybe with a newer Gr1 car. Really only use the 787B and R92CP if I do a Gr1 race (unless stupid VGT cars are there).

I'm currently working on the Super Formula or what ever it is called menu. Bought an SF23 (Toyota obviously, lol). Took me many tries to complete the Watkins Glen one. The AI kept spinning me out, or would move over and force me into the grass. But I'm starting to get used to driving the SF23, even without an TC.
