Things happen when you tune for the ragged edge of performance. Crawford and Cobb have their blown engines too. I always have a healthy distrust of aftermarket tuners. They are in it for the money. If making money means selling the most powerful tune available then there will be blown engines.
He tested the E85 and it was 85% too. So we know it wasn't a case of bad fuel.(That is for the old GTR thread linked in this thread BTW.) |

he is a local guy that lets us chill at his pizza shop...
cool guy. we have a local tuner that does great things with the GTR (CBRD Speedfactory) and yet he went to visconti... not sure why. |

I think the bigger question is why would you do performance mods on such a already fast and expensive car?

VTR I've seen couple GTRS from him and he does work. He knows how to make power. He doesnt tune e85 though. If I had a gtr I will get tune from him being I've seen his work and hes local. Many gtr guys know him well. He knows nissans

honestly.. 15k of repairs on a 100+k car is fair, considering you get a whole new freaking engine.
respectively, that would be the same as an FRS owner dumping 4 grand to fix theirs. rules of the game
