Tanabe Touring Medalion exhaust ETA

I've been waiting patiently for my exhaust to arrive. Just gave Tanabe a call today and they informed me that the first batch of Touring exhaust will arrive on the 19th of this month! I also asked if they are still taking pre-orders for this first batch and they said pre-orders are still available but in limited quantities. I'm super excited!

It's going to be a nice exhaust for sure.

Let us know if we can help.

86design: How is the quality and fitment of the exhaust? Do you feel a huge difference in performance? I'm actually a lot happier now that it is clarified that the tip is stainless instead of blue.

It's well crafted and good looking. It's engineered to sound good but to also be quieter than many aftermarket systems.

Touring Medallion systems are just that way. They are a street system meant for looks and a certain medium-quiet exhaust note. Hence the muffler design on this unit.

If Tanabe was aiming for performance they would release a Concept G / Super Medallion Racing system for the car using a different muffler design and large diameter piping.

The company has been around for a very long time, tanabe wouldn't release a exhaust system if it didnt have performance..ive had there exhaust for about 3 months and i felt a big difference in performance over my stock unit
