The 1 thing I notice with alot of the aftermarket ones for the 1st gens, the resonator that comes with a cat back tends to be very long. Why?? Longer resonator=less drone?

Oh yea I got busy moving and forgot to post my full vid for the MXP SP. In case you didn't see it yet, has more clips inside the car and drive by's.

Someone posted one on FB group and it sounded horrible. Muffler delete are usually a bad idea unless you love drone and not hearing yourself in the car.

Agree with your assessment, my Q300 wasn’t whisper quiet as a lot of the reviews would have you believe. Perrin claims no drone, and I’m sure it’s less annoying than others. Curious how much louder it is vs the CSG

Yes I would do it again cause it sounds awesome in all RPM range. The little exhaust pops on downshift are also nice imo

I'll give a update when I hit the 1k miles, thats the "break-in" period Perrin mention.

edit: when i think about it, @trippinbillies40 hows the exhaust after a few hundreds miles?

Sounds nice.

Does MXP sell an SP exhaust with polished tips instead of burnt tips?

Shown here with regular tips:

https://www.counterspacegarage.com/p...t-brz-frs-gt86

Not sure if it actually is because here they state in the description on this website that the only non-burnt tip version was the prototype:

https://speedindustry.com/mxp-sp-dua...ips-frs-brz-86

I can't seem to find the standard non-burnt tips on any website but CSG's.

So, as of 1/29, what is actually available right now?

I ordered a Perrin cat-back off their site because they said there were a few left in inventory, but my confirmation email said they were on back order. I immediately canceled out of principle because I felt mislead about availability but now I'm back to square one.

What have you guys picked up in the last few days and where have you got it from?

Common tactic these days for online retail, I always email ahead of time now when ordering car stuff. Got bitten once and promised myself never again.

I've watched a bunch of exhaust review videos, and I noticed in nearly all of them the left exhaust tip hangs lower than the right.

Has anyone else noticed this on the 2022s? Or am I just watching reviews of rushed jobs? I attached 3 examples for reference. (HKS, Greddy and MXP examples). I find it hard to believe that 3 different systems would have identical issues. Are the hanger mounts a little different this time around?
