Replaced pads (from Stock to Power Stop), Brake Fluid (RBF600) and Wheels/Tires (From 13 Brz 17” wheel with Blizzaks to 22 Brz 18” with PS4).

First time really driving on PS4 as picked the car in December and was on winter tires until now, noise level reduced a lot, also, feeling improved.

So I guess the Blizzaks are pretty loud? How's the noise level for the PS4s in general?

Ps4. Blizzaks are loud and were wining in a weird way (a subtle metallic sound from the threads distortion and maybe a stick-slip situation). PS4 are good, granted that I checked pressure today and they came overinflated (about 39-40 psi), I will regulate pressure and see if makes difference

Other thing, fuel consumption improved from 24 to 28 mog on same commute, again, will check with correcr pressures

It just occured to me that the average person doesn't do any break in with their new car and Kelly Blue Book doesn't ask when selling used, so....

My heads knock until the engine is warm when the ambient temp is under 50 F in the morning. I babied it to 1000 miles. Sounds fine when warm. I don’t know if it’s normal or not, but I would recommend under 4K for the first 1,000 miles like the manual instructs. Do you not own a user manual?

I expect I'll own a user manual when my car arrives around May 20th. Then again, the dealer still isn't very confident it will arrive. Ordered in November as soon as they were able to take an order.

There's no gospel. It's your car; drive it how you like! The manual does quote a 1000 mile "break-in", staying under 4k during that period, and not "racing the engine." I don't put a lot of miles on my car, either, working from home. I went on a few long drives and burned through the break-in over a few weekends. Again, no gospel on this, but I chose to change the oil afterwards and inspect the filter. Peace of mind has a different value to everyone, you do you. This engine is one of my favorites to rev out, so I couldn't blame you.

Had this Real steering wheel installed. Love it. The installer said it was simple with 0 issues. Pretty much the same as gen 1. No misalignment. Took about an hour. Duracon shift knob arrives today. Also really enjoying the Swift Spec R/Bilstein B8 combo. 6 month wait on TWS T66-F 18x8s

I just picked up my gen2 a week ago and my steering wheel seems to be tilted to the right by 5 degrees or so. Is this a quick fix? Should I take it to a dealer?

Easy fix, any alignment shop can handle it Mine was off too, you just need the front toe fixed (though I'd suggest having the entire car aligned as my car's alignment was not very good)
