UPDATE TIME

We did a whole bunch of pulls on the dyno today. We tried out a early prototype of a experimental compressor and made some darn good gains.

The experimental compressor actually made too much boost at the low end so it dropped us into a load cell that was richened for safety(this is why it didn't make as much tq as the small compressor). This was only dyno runs, once we tune for the increased boost, gains will be more across the whole board.

Dyno room was at 29C with humidity at 29%

Peak gains at 4200 rpm 57tq and 46hp!!!! This is the punch the car really needed and makes it fly when merging onto the highway.

Can't wait until you guys in the states get tuned on your good gas or e85, gonna be some interesting results.... Especially at sea level.

All in all this is the perfect gain for a otherwise stock car, no messing with the fuel system, no messing with supporting mods or clutches

Awesome

Looking forward to seeing how this setup performs with some supporting mods

For a third the price and a tenth the install time of the other kits this all seems extremely reasonable

As much as people are going to want to flame me for having an electric supercharger this is seriously an amazing option. The power and torque curve on this this thing is damn near perfect. I just priced out a turbo just out of curiousity and this option would be less than 6000 vs a turbo. Not to mention this thing is still being developed and only getting better. With an extra 6000 i can get a header, tires, exhaust, and still have money left over to take the wifey on vacation so she does not kick my ass for spending 6000 on my car and not on her lol. But seriously this is great option and im all for it. Great job to op and rob for getting this started in the right direction.:happy0180:: party0030:

I agree it is a very cool option. I have seen these on trucks it was a "climb" button that was used for pulling a trailor up a steep hill. I am glad to finally see them move to the sports car market. I feel that as this progresses it has the potential to really become the next big thing in forced induction.

This will become a famous option after people see the performance an understand this isn't an Ebay kit.
people pay $1,500 for mods that don't do anything to this car unlike this kit.
I really hope this kit stays around this price.

It would be hard to justify over just an e85 tune + header (similar numbers similar price) if it was much higher imo.

Agreed, this is a big step in the right direction, good gains, very affordable, easily removed with average house hold tools.
Perfect for majority of the owners on here not looking to break bank and so heavy modding.
In short a very economical option for power.

And I'll say it again, you can turn it off and go NA with a flick of a switch.

This was also the perfect car for this product!

P. S. Being able to step on it in 4th at low rpm and have torque is too fun and so useful

Well peak power may be similar but you are in for $1000 for e85 tune and $1000 for header(fa20club and nameless and JDL).

The tq below 5500 rpm is a lot more with the electric charger. Also remember as soon as you go e85 you take a big hit in fuel mileage..... This doesn't affect mileage.

Area under the curve is a lot different and we already have higher HP than anyone running e85.

true. I guess my only "gripe" is that its only affective at wot right? how responsive is it at cutting power if you only jump a few 1000 rpm at a time? Or wot from 2000-5000rpm then ease off the rest of the gear? I definitely don't want hickups or anything if I have unpredictable throttle input. I do have an AT afterall and this wot only boost makes me nervous

Take a look at my video on the first page.... It shows normal and wot operation. It is a smooth transition into the power once you go wot I can assure you. There is no jerkiness to be found in this system. I have had buddies of mine drive my car that didn't know I had it and they couldn't tell anything different except for more power when they need it.

At 210 HP I am staying dead even with a stage 1 2013 sti from the low gear rolls. That is the moment that impressed me the most because I had a 2011 sti stage 1 before the FRS.
