when your on the page for the knob, there should be a box towards the bottom of the page with all the options. If you want it engraved, just pick fitment plus custom engraving. You'll just need to email the order number, what car you have, and what you want for the engraving to BOSSFLOSS@THEFLOSSYSITE.COM

I just got it, and it doesn't fit. I picked up the Subaru one, which Chad (bossfloss) said it would work with some fiddadling... Did you order the Subaru STi reverse lockout too?

Define "it doesn't fit." Won't screw on? Didn't end up straight? I'll be honest with you, I just told him what I wanted and he brought me the knob. I was just super specific and mentioned it over and over in my communications with him. Mine went on no problems. Didn't sit straight.. It was 180* off. He gave me a nut that fixed that. Hopefully it's an easy fix.:happy0180:

Unfortunately my lockout is not threaded... It's simply a cylinder. Did Chad just get inconsistent with these? Haha. I guess I have to get in contact with him again. Dammit.

Whaaaaaaaat? So it'll screw on but gets stuck on the lockout. He didn't counter sink it big enough . Mine sits nice and low on my lock out. I'll warn you right now, it's gonna be tough to get a replacement. Keep on him. He does have a "real" job and he seems a bit forgetful. Keep me updated on how this goes, please. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't get frustrating.

Is not even threaded at any point... I'm so effed. And that's exactly the problem, he hasn't opened the cylinder enough for me to slide it past the wider part of the shifter (where we can insert the rollout pin) after the shift knob threads. *sigh*

Yeah, given his track record with returns.....not good :/

If you have a machine shop you trust, there is no reason why you couldn't have them open up that hole a bit if you can't get ahold of chad.

He's been answering emails a bit more frequently lately. i asked him a few questions in the last couple weeks and he always got back to me. Just give him a couple days to answer and if nothing, just email him again. Haven't had him not respond yet. Sounds like you had a one off defective one i've bought 2 from him, one engraved and now one blank one. The engraved one came with a nut to raise it just a little bit and got the engraving more or less aligned. The blank one did not come with the nut and wouldnt stay tight on the shifter but i just picked up a nut at autozone which actually on its own helped it stay on tighter for whatever reason and some loctite blue just to be safe.

I did some more research on Flossy and found his track record isn't the greatest with members on this board. This was after I ordered a flossy on 9/6. He has been in contact with me since and I will have the knob on 9/9. I am impressed with his response time and delivery time. I have nothing but positive feedback for boss floss. Now I'm hoping the knob will align straight. given the number of ways members have found to fix the problem it should not be a problem
