I caught a couple of guys driving BMW's looking at my car as they passed me going the opposite direction.

A guy in a Nomex suit (or at least a racing jacket of some sort) driving a purple, modded EVO VIII(?) gave me a thumbs-up a few months ago. I returned the compliment.

i love it when i pass by and heads are turning towards my car. theres been also a couple of times as im driving slow in residential areas and people just yell out "nice car man". my favorite time tho was a time where i was going to the store ( I usually park at the back empty side of the parking lot in fear of people hitting my car as they park) and a guy from the gas station very close by came to my car as i was getting out to admire and ask about my car

Nope not in Canada, at least not in the provinces i have been too. Hey can you buy guns and ammo at 7/11? Or can you buy guns, tobacco and alcohol in the same store? Atf?

I tend to get a reasonable amount of attention at the car wash. I usually do it myself, and then pull the car out into the parking lot to dry it off before I leave. I've had a bunch of people pull up after washing their own cars to chat about it. Most common questions I get are "How did you pick between the FRS/BRZ?" and "How do you like that car?" I've gotten to the point where I have pre-fabricated responses for both of those questions. It always turns heads wherever it goes as well.

Driving through Montana, I stopped in a gas station/convenience store/gun store/casino/liquor store/beer shop. Very Montana. In NY you can buy beer just about anywhere though.

I get a lot of looks and gaping stares in my car, but so far it's 100% dudes. Most common question is "Do you drive that through the winter?"

A lot of states you can only buy beer from distributors. In PA we cannot buy beer from gas stations or the grocery store. I used to live in FL and you could go to any gas station or store basically and buy alcohol. Different states have different laws.

Twice at the same gas station near me.

First was an older gentleman who was impressed with the looks and hadn't yet heard of the car. He was quite impressed with it.

The second encounter the clerk ran out and asked to take a picture of my car.

Having only had second hand cars before this, and none of them being even remotely interesting, it's definitely fun seeing how excited and intrigued this car makes people.

My sister in law comented on a guys brz the other day and he said thanks. she replied with "but i like my little brothers frs better." the guy said it must be nice having daddy buy you a nice car. she said "he bought his own car...he is a united states marine."

I was eating some fast food on my journey home with my brand new car. The car was parked in the shade, and I was sitting at the one table that enabled me to still see the car.

I watched two guys walk all around the car checking it out for a good 5 minutes. Never got to talk to them, but still felt pretty special!

(I have also only had second-hand cars that nobody noticed)
