Never heard of this until just now looking it up on the Initial D wiki. (Have only ever watched the first few episodes of the show)
Doesn't seem like a very effective strategy, just seems like it would upset the suspension and weight balance. Plus I'm sure he now has a nice dent/scrape on his exhaust pipe.  Quote:
