Got that right, I am counting the days till I can get my STI kit painted. The match on my last car wasn't bad, hopefully this one will come out nice.

2) 0061 3) WRB 4) Pennsylvania 5) this is my first BRZ I decided to get it after test driving a focus RS and a golf R. The tS just felt so much better, it made them feel clumsy. I plan to keep the car mostly stock at least for now with probably a catback or something. One thing is for sure though that the suspension stays. http://imgur.com/gallery/ocBpQaf Imgur link because my phone sucks |

I'm going to make a journal. but the car as a lot of plans. Taking a lot of the mods I took off my old BRZ and putting them on tS. My first reactions to the tS is it's an awesome car I love the look and the wing. It's going to be seeing a lot of track time this summer at the local tracks. 1) James
2) 0140 3) Crystal Black Silica 4) Alexandria, VA 5) History: I picked up my tS about 30 days ago. I've wanted a twin ever since they hit the market over here, but when it came to selling my C6 Corvette back in 2014 and to downsizing to one "practical" car (read: Focus ST, then Golf R) in the house, the BRZ didn't make it the cut as our giant doodle was too clumsy to get herself in the back seat. Now that I moved out of DC back into Alexandria, it was time to get a second car. I was initially going to pick a 2017/2018 Limited w/ the PP, but made the effort to go see a Black BRZ tS at another dealer, and instantly knew this was the car. Without a doubt, this car has to the most truly fun cars I have owned in my life. To Date: Some minor appearance mods to make it my own. I picked up clear JDM corner lenses, Gloss Black/Red Subaru Vinyl Badge Overlays, 35% Tint, and I smoked out the clear section of the tail light with a Vinyl Overlay. I've also since replaced the free advertising for Sheehy Subaru! On the Docket: Perrin 2.5in Resonated Catback arrived today and will be getting installed tomorrow @ PTuning. Future Plans: JRSC C30, ACE 350/PTuning/JDL Headers if I can ever decided |

Ahh finally another Black one! Sweet, I think I just saw your car on ptuning's instagram. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after the tune!

1) firekat
2) 0489 3) Crystal White Pearl 4) Napa, CA 5) Car was purchased to afford a trade in on a 2013 Mini Cooper S Clubman that was giving me fits and had me spooked, waiting for the next big thing to go wrong. Liked the way that car handled, gas mileage and... the horn. Was looking at hot hatches - WRX STI, Honda Civic Type R, Focus RS. The BRZ tS is more of a sports car than the rest which I thought were quite big (especially in comparison to the Mini - BRZ is waay wider than the Mini). Don't need a 4 door, and didn't want to do FWD again. All the others were more money than I wanted to spend. Nearly went for the WRX, just could not justify that kind of money on a second car. The CTR's in the area were all going way over MSRP. One dealership was taking bids. I'm buying a car, not a house! I like the BRZ a lot. Handles well, though not a good as the Mini. BRZ needs more power. The biggest shortcoming to me is not the HP, it's the torque. Sounds downright agricultural. Will be dealing with power issue in the near future (FI & associated accoutrement). Car is still not out of the run in period. And, it's getting Mini horns - Authoritative, Teutonic. Not eep eep. |

Got to say. Kudos to all you tS owners who are modding it right away and in quick fashion. Not sure I expected that seeing as it's arrived with most of the goodies that you'd like. Wheels, tires, aero kit, wing, bracing, etc. Congrats to all!

Correct, and that is the only thing that I am going to do. The only other thing that I have done so far is the accelerator pedal spacer to make it easier to heel and toe.
I like the way the car looks, mixed feelings on the spoiler, but hey, I paid for it, far be it from me to take it off leaving holes on the trunk lid. I like the fact that the car is not overloaded with geegaws, which just adds to the maintenance issues. All the important upgrades on the car are in the tS package. Not looking at changing anything cosmetically. Once the power issue gets addressed successfully & reliably it should erase any feelings that I should have gotten something else - buyer's remorse. |
