Ah totally missed that section in the manual

Available Trip Parameters = 4 (Max RPM or Distance to Empty for TANK trip)
Trip Designations = 3 (Tank Trip)

Thanks

just got mine from autozone, priced 159.99 in store, showed them advanced auto parts internet price 139.99 and they honored it. So, no shipping or wait.
Got the hang of it fairly quickly. Bummer the auto trans temp is a no go. Oil temp, water temp, all good to go. Has some other performance features like 0-60 I may check out.

I ended up going with Torque and a tablet. It looks like you have to remove the rubber lip to make the Scanguage fit into the slot though if I recall from the photo.

Well distance to empty is a fail. Did a track day yesterday and despite driving home, filling up since etc its totally lost the plot and doesn't move of 0.0 lol

Precise fuel is good enough though so won't bother trying to work out DTE.

Aeroforce made some specific scan gauges (Interceptor CNE, I think) for the FRS/BRZ, they might be able to display such a reading...
