I presume that is at AMARC. The good news is they actually sealed her up and kept it intact instead of just parking it there. That sometimes means they have plans for it. Or is could just sit there forever.

Yup, The Boneyard. It's not going anywhere. They all have patched and repatched foot-long cracks in the wing spars. They were all decommissioned from carrier service immediately after strain data that I helped take, showed they were dangerously close to buckling.

So are those the right markings? If I build it I would rather mark it as one that I know somebody flew in.

Well that is easy then! They actually kit that very aircraft with most of the right markings. Just need to make a PR tail code and that is it.

Yeah but the model manufacturer made a limited run. Someone has three of them for sale on Amazon for around 180 USD each.

Meh. They will be easier to find than Amazon. Already found one for $100 Canadian. A quick check of my regular shops will probably turn one up even less than that. If not I will get a different version and just make the squadron decals.

You will be able to buy whatever you forget. That is my post-military-first-world golden rule of packing.

Right? Thankfully I'm able to pack light, since I get the feeling that my suitcase will not be full of just my stuff.
