Visitation rights were part of the sales contract.
Also the adoption interview was grueling and Villain was the only one that passed!

Never told him (now he will know) but I actually turned down two offers of $500 more than he paid for it because I didn't like the people. One guy even had cash in hand in my driveway.

Selling it was really hard to do. It was like having to give up a beloved pet or something. I actually teared up as my wife drove me away after dropping it off.

I felt the same way about selling my 2006 STi. I sold it to an acquaintance who lives just 10 minutes away for less than I was offered over the phone. He knew the car and how much work it needed but both he and his wife wanted it so they could save it from a worse fate. I see the car now and then. In fact as the wife and I were coming into our little village this past Sunday the new owners were just leaving. We all waved and flashed our lights. I'm glad they have it, are improving it and seem to be enjoying it.
First photo is as sold.
Second photo is how it looks today.

Drove my FRS to get some takeout this evening. On the way back there is this bridge that the road rises up to and drops down after. It would be pretty close to a jump if one were dumb enough to hit it at full tilt and forget about the curve immediately following it.

Well there was no one around and just me in the car so I took it a bit aggressively as it's also a fun driving road. I'm very proud to say that not only did I not crash, I also managed to not hit the deer lying in wait on the other side of the bridge!

Sorry boys. I didn't crash but an idiot merged onto me.

Was in the pass lane and concrete barrier on my left so I couldn't even swerve to avoid.

Sorry about that @YamahaR86. That looks fixable, although there's the whole it as 2013 car going against you.

Tracked mine this weekend. Did not crash, but tried to for a bit on several year old NT01s!

Already did my Recall and am safe. Put about 20k miles on it with no issues and am turbo'd.

I think he just meant for when insurance decides whether to repair the car or total it. I can't imagine that being totalled though, if so send me the VIN so I can watch for it on copart! lol

I had an intimate moment with a kangaroo on the way home from work last night. I was doing 110 on a country road. He hopped out in front of me and sat in the middle if the road. I hit the brakes and steered towards his tail rather than front, hoping he’d keep going. He changed direction and hopped back the way he’d come from, straight back into my path. The enormous brembos and nice new pilot sports did what they’re supposed to do, and I pulled up short.

He wasn’t apologetic at all, but just hopped away.

I like driving a car that does what you ask.

Just paint the other side the same way and pretend it is the 90s again!

Yea, that's what I meant, paper totalled. Probably not if no air bags involved.
