So has anyone solved this issue? Finally broke my endlink mount on my last track day of the year. Ive seen someone drill a hole in the lower control arm and mount the endlink to that. Seems like a good idea but if anyone has any insight into this it would be greatly appreciated.

From my research it seems other coilovers have similar issues with contacting the strut body, inner wheel well, and lower control arm. The ohlins have a large lower strut mount exasperating the issue and putting stress on a cast aluminum endlink mount which results in the mount snapping in two. What I think is a good solution is to drill a hole in the lower control arm to mount the end link which is how the wrx/sti sway bar is mounted but it has a dedicated mount and is on the front side of the control arm. The issue is finding a adjustable endlink that is very short with 14mm ball joints. Also probably will need to reinforce the mounting point on the lower control arm. This will be my winter project since my car is parked for the next few months.

Is this just happening with aftermarket sway bars or with OEM stuff too?

Ohlins claims that it doesnt happen with the stock sway bar. I have my doubts, i am using the trd sway bars but i am sure they are made by eibach.

I need to keep an eye on this. I have whiteline 20mm front sway bar on the stiff settings, whiteline end links and stock dampers on rce yellows.

Unless you have ohlins I think you will be fine.

Just bringing this back from the dead.

OEM anti-roll bars
Ohlins R&T

Looking for adjustable endlink suggestions that will not cause contact/isssues.

Brian from Ohlins USA was adamant about only using OEM endlinks cut to length.

Anyone else have contact issues with stock bars/adjustable end links and Ohlins?

Eibach links looks to be pretty slim: AK41-82-043-01-20

I may give these a try, I currently run Ohlins Mi20's with a 24mm whiteline front bar and their adjustable endlinks, it does contact at full lock.

Edit: Cusco's also look very slim

Still look thicker than Hotchkis unless someone can confirm otherwise. I haven’t been able to find anything that comes close to as thin as the hotchkis end links but I’m really going off of pictures so I don’t know how accurate that is.
