I like the 75-110 but I race on the 75-90
Thanks for the reply. The reason why I ask is because I also have a Honda S2000 which i believe to also have a Aisin transmission. I was able to use amsoil syncromesh in that hence I figured I can in the BRZ. From my reading, all syncromesh fluid (5-30) is lighter than 75-90 which is what our transmission specs.

In regards to the diff, why go lighter in track situations where temps are higher?

The wear isnít happening nor do I have a fancy lsd that needs thicker fluid, and thicker fluids can also contribute to higher temps. It wasnít a Ďsolutioní for me. On the advice of csg Mike and allowable by the T4 rules, I just installed the greddy diff cover so Iím looking forward to see how that improves the life of the diff fluid.

Pentosin MTF2 (75w80, GL-4) in the Gearbox, Motul 300 (75w90) in the diff. NOT LSD oil. There are no clutch discs in there.
