Borla axle back "touring" exhaust

Anyone in the Charlotte area have this exhaust? It's an option for the FRS.

I'd like to take a listen, if anyone does.

I had this exhaust for a little while when I first bought the car. Here is a video of it. I also had the resonator cut out and a piece of pipe welded in its place during this video.

Did you get the Scion Borla option? Borla has two axle back options. The one pictured above, and this one, which is the Scion option/EU spec. Muffler size, and tips are different.

Your right. It is the second one. It was an option already installed at the dealer when I bought it.

Second one, the Scion option, is EU compliant, not sure what the difference is, but if you ever drive to Europe, you're set

The Toyota/Scion option is the second image I posted, p/n: 1014034, which per the Borla catalog is a "touring" sound. The original post, is p/n: 11839, which is listed as "S-type", not touring, as I originally titled this.

Quote:
Touring
Sound: Mild Growl
HIGH PERFORMANCE WITHOUT THE ROAR
The single-core, high-flow design of Borla’s Touring mufflers
adds power and driving excitement with a sound that is deep and
throaty, but just slightly louder than stock at open throttle. Perfect
for the “sleeper” crowd.

S-Type
Sound: Aggressive Plus
STRAIGHT-THROUGH POWER
The S-Type’s optimized combination of packing filament,
straight-through core dimensions, perforation pattern and
cylindrical shape delivers the intoxicating Borla®
“Sound of Power” with every squeeze of the throttle.
fyi, the Borla cat-back, p/n: 140496 is also listed as "S-type".

I Have the dealer option one and its a hair louder than stock like it says. I'm curious what a uel header would do to the noise. I really only notice it at idle and above 3k rpm
