weird issue after BPB & OFT install

I am experiencing a few issues since ive installed my BPB w/OFT tune.
When the car is cold, it will randomly stall when i come to a light or stop sign, this has happened 4 times now since installing 3 weeks ago. normally happens if im leaving in a rush and dont let the the car warm up. i normally let the the car warm to reg idle and then go.

Second issue i am having appears to be with the tune itself. i seem to get a hicup/misfire or some weird lag around 3-3100 rpm range, hard to explain, but u can feel it. car seems to act strangely around that rpm under but only during light throttle. if im on the gas a bit more i dont notice it at all. anyone else experience this.

Thanks.

Have you tried pulling a battery terminal and resetting the ecu?

Shouldn't be necessary after flashing a new tune.

It shouldn't be, but it's worth a try.

If the problem occurs on your stock tune, you know it's a physical problem. If it goes away then it may be a tune issue.

Don't you need a tune for those to be even effective? Most people lost power till properly tuned. Did shiv send you a tune to support these mods?

Yeah, I would try the stock tune and eliminate that possible cause. Also be sure your vacuum hose is zip tied down at the back of the intake. The hose is too short once the BPB is/are installed and needs to be checked. An air leak will cause idle problems. This happened to me when I first installed my BPB. Zip tied both ends and no issues since.

I would suggest just directly calling Vishnu.

This would be my suggestion as well. When we first installed BPB on our shop car, we ran into this issue. If you have a leak there, you will have stalling issues. Definitely worth checking out. It's unlikely to be a tune issue since the BPB maps are 99% the same as the standard OTS maps. Only difference is some minor tweaks to fuel/timing/vvt at high RPM. Definitely wouldn't introduce any idle issues.

Cheers,
shiv

I did zip tie the top vac hose and i know that its good and tight but im a dumb ass and didnt think about zipping down the bottom part of the vac line. i will do that tonight. its not really an idle issue, the does idle fine 99% if the time. just random stalls when not fully warm coming to a stop... but ill zip my lower hose tonight.

A vacuum leak would be my first guess also.
