HKS New Stroker Kit and Evasive Motorsports Engine Build
We at Evasive Motorsports are competing and getting ready for Pikes Peak 2014. We are going to be building our new Pikes Peak FA20 motor with HKS new stroker kit. This includes HKS Pistons, Crank Shaft, Cam Shaft, and Rods. We plan on using our new Motec M150 ECU Standalone system to control and tune the motor. The Stroker kit we will be testing and soon to be released to the US. We will keep you guys updated will all the testing and dyno charts after we are done. We are shooting for around 500whp reliable horsepower to get us up the mountain.
Specs 6/6/14 UPDATE Finally got the motor and size to the piston bore. Measured the rings gaps and time to start assemble the motor with the new HKS billet crankshaft. 6/15/14 UPDATE Two more weeks till Pikes Peak, we have just finished the shims for the cams. HKS 2.1L stroker with cams and Ferrea valvetrain for the Evasive Pikes Peak FRS. We need all the torque we can get for the climb! Last edited by Evasive Motorsports; 06-15-2014 at 04:54 AM. |

Hahaha Pikes Peak Mountain is no joke. We like the word reliable with our track cars to be good in quality and performance. This is not going to be a slap on turbo kit. Do one pass on the dyno with stock block and make 500whp. |

Reliable is definitely the most important thing. To finish first, first you must finish. Great looking parts though, would love to see specs/details on them.

In for how much it is stroked too, i assume this is the 2.2 that was mentioned earlier this year?
Also interested in how the cams would perform on their own.
