CNT Header review

Hey guys, just finished getting my cnt uel header in and i wanted to post my opinions.

Packaging: As seen elsewhere the packaging is god awful. t comes in a box surrounded by a plastic bag and that is it. When FedEx brought it to my house the box was banged up to hell, but the header was all good thankfully.

Install: The install wasn't too bad. The hardest thing was getting the header off the overpipe bolts. It took me and a friend quite a while, but we were taking our time having fun with it. (We were doing a whole bunch of installs on different cars)

Fitment: As i've read before the fitment was SLIGHTLY off. One flange slipped on great and it met the overpipe great and it left the left flange 1/8th of an inch off. With a little brute force we got it on and now everything is all good.

Quality: To me all the welds looked pretty good. The flanges were nice and flat. The only downside was the collector. It wasn't a formed collector but oh well.

Sound: I think it sounds great. From behind there is a really nice rumble but from within the cabin it almost sounds stock.

Overall: I think it was a great purchase. For $299 shipped you kind of can't beat it.

Now i want to add a catted frontpipe and a tune
Sound clips when i get home.

Here are some shitty sound clips. I know going catless was going to give me more sound, but this sounds like something is lose? Or is it rasp from the Front pipe? Something just doesn't seem right unless its me being paranoid.

drive away
in cabin

So it came with bad weld? Why not give it back and ask for a replacement?

i probably should, but i don't to go through the whole process of taking it off and putting the stock one back on only to do it again in a couple of days.
