I have the Verus Pedal spacer, and do auto-x, hpde and spirited runs and it has a /Smidge/ of lateral play, it is a piece of plastic
I would say your pedal assembly itself is broken. My spacer mounted the pedal up and away from the brake ( have big feet, actually helps alot with "heel" toe { more like left side/right side foot}) |

I did end up looking into this further this weekend. I apologize it took me so long.
It appears most of the throttle pedal play you are seeing is internal to the unit itself (inside the plastic portion). It does not appear to be from the rod itself. I stopped looking any further at this point as I am personally not interested in ruining my throttle pedal. So I am unsure if there is a "fix" to this or not. I hope this helps some. |

There was a TSB posted for this amongst Canadian dealers last time I checked. I wasn't even aware of the issue until a service advisor brought it up. Luckily i wasn't experiencing the issue.
HOWEVER, Ive tried claiming TSB's from Subaru America and they "were not recognized" in Canada so I don't know what to believe anymore.. |
