Good wheel/tire set up for daily driver
Right now I'm still rockin the stock set up, my car BRZ is only a month old. I'm trying to figure out a good set up for when I decide to get new rims and tires on my car. I don't do track or any racing, car is my daily driver but I do like to enjoy it and ride it hard at times around the city or highway.
What is the offset at stock and what is a good offset for a daily driver? Also would I be better off staying at 17s or go 18s? I've seen set ups on cars where they go higher wheel size in back and lower In the front, will that work on the BRZ and does it affect the good handling and fun of this car if for example, 18s in the back and 17 in the front? I'm a newb at this and still trying to learn all the tire size. Seems like there is more too it the just picking a rim size and tire lol. I love the way this car feels and rides and I don't want to lose it so whatever is a good set up that looks good but keeps the feel of the car is ideal for me. Thanks for any input. |
