Best coil overs for around 1000.00
Hi group. Ok I know this is very subjective but I was seeing what people thought might be the best coil overs for around 1000.00 for mainly street use, but may run it on the track 1 time or another. Thanks.

In that price range you could go Bilstein B6 with either RCE Yellow or Tarmac springs for 0.8" lowering, or Swift BRZ Sport or Spec-R springs for 1.25" lowering.
I actually went Bilstein B8/Swift Spec-R, but B6s are the same with more droop travel... |

You can get better ride/performance out of springs and dampers vs cheap "coilovers"

The ST coilovers are the KWV1 without the branding or inox coating. I've installed KWV3s and the STs with friends, both are top quality

Everything else that is height adjustable in that price range is not worth it, especially if its primarily a street car in places where there is snow on the ground. And if you have to ask, that's even more reason to not get adjustable coilovers. |

You don't need them for track days. I'm at -2.7L/-2.9R camber in back with stock control arms, at ~1.25" lower on Swift SpecR springs. Probably more of an argument for LCAs on the street! But still IMO not necessary, particularly if lowered by less than an inch...
