Here is a video of a Japanese fellow who already got his GR Yaris delivered and he immediately got a lot of GR parts installed. The video does have some English subtitles.

I guess it won't be much longer until the first owner reviews will come in.

IT looks surprisingly huge next to the 86......
Could just be cuz its taller and has a blockier front fascia though.

For all the curious. The UK configurator for the GR Yaris is now live. Since a few people complained about it they seem to have added now a third model. The convenience pack which includes stuff like the HUD, parking sensors, Blind spot monitoring, etc. Adaptive cruise control and lane assist are standard on every model though.

Pretty much all of the 86 wheels fit on the Corolla, same bolt pattern, similar macstruts design. Speed Academy put on 18x9.5+40 with coilovers iirc. I bet it's not any different for the Yaris.

Eh I don't mind them, 80s/90s chunky durable rally style wheels, I'd probably go gold though on a white or black car, white wheels might work with the red paint, or if they used that light blue that they put on all the press Rolla Hatchbacks.

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...9&postcount=15

The sparco's are cheaper then the oz's iirc

The annoying thing is that so many of the wheels aimed at budget warmed over economy cars don't come wider then 8" or maybe 8.5" gimme 9's and 10's goddamnit, I'll cut the damn fenders if I have to. At least for the corolla and yaris they can steal 86 wheels, other brands aren't so lucky (lookin' at you Mini/BMW)

People from the UK have a reason to be happy. Apparently the first boat from Japan with cars is on its way. Multiple people have been told their cars are among them. The estimated arrival is somewhere around early-mid November.

Im so happy right now because just this morning I got an E-Mail with a Status Update from from Toyota. My car is in Production
Im in Germany so this should also be good news for all the people in LHD countries. We apparently don't have to wait long either.

Strange that its top speed is same with 86/BRZ at 230km/h. Does it have a speed limiter or very bad drag coefficient (Cd) with square frontal area?
