If youre looking for a challenge, you could paint it up as a rust-bucket. Rusted through, holes, etc. Would be quite a challenge and would look better than you think, particularly since the car just came out.

The gulf livery represents the pinnacle of what car racing is all about, thats why its used on so many different makes. Id use the general theme from the gulf livery and play with photoshop color combinations, instead of baby-blue, perhaps a deep dark black/plum and have the accents in white or green.
