Nah. The TRD Kit is normal ABS like our STi Kit. I could just about guarantee that it's produced by Subaru like this piece.

There's some kinda aftermarket replica kit out there where their using carbon slivers.

A lot of the OEM aftermarket Toyota stuff is rebadged Suby parts. But Toyota is producing a whole mess of stuff on their own.

My TRD wing in no place had a Subaru stamp. I'm thinking that winglet piece has Subaru stamped on it because the mounting tray (plastic) is a Subaru part. The carbon itself is likely laid by a TRD supplier and then mounted to the tray that's bought from/supplied by Subaru.

Meh. That very well could be. I had also considered that scenario.

I seriously doubt that TRD or STi have "suppliers" to do these parts. They both have more than adequate facilities to produce all manners of carbon bits.

Did the fender vent come with TRD logo stamped on or was it a sticker you put on?

Bam!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-BRZ...item416b32384e

Mike at Holdcroft. He's a super cool guy. I've been working with him for a while now. He can tailor fit the shipping to the US pretty cheaply. I'm working to see if he can get us more of the Euro-ish parts.

They are just like the SPT decals here - http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/pr...oducts_id=1711

These are one of three new designs available for the Impreza model line-up this year in Japan.

Per Google Translate:
White LED lights in the shape of a ring engine is started. The smart lamp that is switched to halogen fog at the time of rain and fog.

<All models>
* When attached to (1.6i) vehicle standard fog-free car, (sold separately) is required separately fog light kit installation.
* (It is off the fog lamp is lit) that will light while the engine is running. There is no off switch.
* Prices shown are manufacturer's suggested retail body price including consumption tax. When replacing, separately, sold separately installed products and installation fees will be charged.

The install is about as straightforward as it can be applying a completely different models accessory to my car. It was a fairly painless rough-in. The Fog Lights are fully functional already due to the uber sweet OEM adapter. Now I just need to work out the wiring for the DRL LED's that I will be using as NRL LED's.

On to the pics:

This is a very cool OEM adapter harness to go from our Fog to an H11 Bulb.

I can't say if,where, what is legal in any given jurisdiction. These are only OEM to Japan and would be considered aftermarket equipment here in the US.

Yep, pretty damn sick. I'm not gonna push the envelope and wire them for DRL. Then it would be Boomerang, LED DRL's and these Halo DRL's. That's just a lil to much for me.
I'll be happy to have them as NRL's.
