Well, I don't have any lights on the dash. But I'll plug my OBD reader in and see if there's anything stored. Failing that, I'll try to find a sympathetic Subaru/Toyota dealership to plug their fancy-schmancy computer into it.

Is the engine fully up to temp? That's the only thing that's kept the pd from working for me in the past..

Took the car to Toyota today to get the DTCs. Looks like I have some wheel speed sensor issues:

C1232: Left Front Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
C1233: Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal Missing
C1237: Speed Wheel Rear Input Signal Missing
C1464: Front Speed Sensor Right
C1465: Front Speed Sensor Left
C1541: Vehicle Speed Signal Malfunction

Plus a bunch of airbag codes, which make sense as I've removed the side curtain airbags.

So, at least I've got something to go on. I haven't started reading up on these codes, but if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Thanks.

OK people, update time. I need some help with the ABS pump part numbers.

As I said in my last post, consensus is this is the ABS pump / brake actuator assembly. I actually posted the wrong code numbers before and have edited the post above.

The plan is to replace the pump with one from the wrecker. When I search for it, car-part lists 5 options for this part (first photo), and two for the MT version (I have an MT). When I called the junkyard they just asked the number on the existing pump, and I gave them the number you can see in the second photo, without checking.

Now, when I tried to install this pump I stupidly cross-threaded one of the hardlines (eff) so I need to get another one and do it again. Checking the numbers this time I noticed that 1) the number on the pump corresponds to one the AT part numbers on car-part, and 2) THERE'S A GIANT "A" STAMPED ON IT

So I think this is a happy accident and I have the wrong part. Can anyone with a manual trans 2013 FRS with a stock ABS pump please double check for me? My hunch here is that the guy I bought the car from replaced the ABS pump at some point and didn't check. It mostly works, I just can't do the pedal dance and my trackbox doesn't enable 'track mode' either.

Thanks!

PM'd you

Also, ignore the A stamped on it. I have four of them here, they all have an A on them.

OK, so other than the "A", can you tell me what part numbers you see and what they came from?

I did get your PM and I'll be looking to that as well.

Thanks,

2020 MT Hakone Edition - 27536CA070
2017 MT Brembo - 27536CA040
2016 MT Hyperblue - 27536CA020
2015 MT - 27536CA020

Units with 27536CA030 and higher are 2017+ units with track mode and require a small repin on 2013-2014 cars. 2015 and 2016 units would also require a repin on 2013-2014 cars.
