Yep! You just call up the best custom shop around and say I want this chassis with that body and the engine from those and the tranny from another and the suspension from so and so. You hand them a big fat wad of money and drive away in the, to you, perfect Frankenstein mobile.
People have been doing it for decades with hotrods and resto mods. It just is normally very, very, very expensive even if you can do it yourself.

Money or not, I don't like the looks of either, so wouldn't buy.

If money was no object, I think at this point in life I would buy a Bentley Continental GT Speed. I could really give the soccer mom's in their mini vans a good race, in style.

What cars on sale today DO you like the styling of? Asking out of curiosity.

Between the two cars - GR86 all day.
Manual, no BMW parts (except maybe the turn signal stalk), light and NA. Use the extra money for consumables.

If money was no object and any car is eligible probably a GR86 and an Aston Martin Vantage (Gaydon Era)

Then OP should ask the question properly.

"If you could have a 3.0 Supra or an 86 which would you prefer?"

Throwing in "if money is no object" opens up other options that changes the scenario. That is why so many people are giving the neither response.

Didn't everyone take multiple choice tests in formative school? There was no blank line for coming up with your own answer. Pick from above!

Doesn't mean you couldn't write what you really thought next to it

So, I'm on Let's make a deal, and I have a choice between the two?

Easy. I can sell the Supra for more.

If I was still single, I’d get a Supra.

If money isnt an object, then other factors need to be taken into consideration

-Refinement = Supra
-Speed = supra
-Handling/fun-to-drive = whichever one feels "better"
-Practicality = 86
-more than a 2 seater = 86
-Manual transmission = 86
-wow factor = depends on how much someone knows about the two cars and how it "wows" them. I curbside picked up some food one time and the person who came to my window had no idea what car i had. Dont think they knew anything about the 86.

In the end..whichever you'd like better.

Personally if money is no object i'd likely looking elsewhere.
