I had my TOB and new clutch installed out the door at $621.60

Look how fast someone familiar can take out the trans:

Either way man I suggest getting your TOB replaced since someone will be up in there anyway (TOB=$50). Also check your flywheel you may not need it resurfaced/replaced. I'm at 70k and my flywheel looked great. However be prepared to resurface/replace the flywheel if needed.
Remarkable. If I ever need that done, I'm going to make my wrench watch that video first.

I can point you in the direction of a few enthusiast shops for future reference to avoid the chain shops who have no idea what they are doing.
Congratulations!

That's a good idea for a new thread. Probably in the New England regional subforum and put a link in the NY/NJ/CT sub too. A list of recommended enthusiast shops would be a good resource.

Appreciate it! I did have to ditch the BRZ for car seat room, but I found a pretty clean V8 4Runner should should be fun too!

I actually use the 6 ton truck stands. It's awesome being able to get a regular car up 2 feet in the air to work under without struggling for space.

Edit: I did get the joke, it was awesome, but I already have the big stands haha. So maybe she can take on a clutch job.
