i will keep it going...

i run nokian z-lines on 4 cars. less than 300 for 4 for the last set for the 01 rs on brz rims. quiet, stick like glue, just a few grams to balance them and good to 168mph. looks like they will make 10-12k miles if i rotate every oil change as i like 1-2 % slippage.

the ruble against the dollar is pretty weak.

You've been around this forum long enough to know this will last at least 50 pages.

Anyone that has not tried General tires really needs to. I have owned 3 sets of them, 1 winter tire and 2 all seasons and I have been impressed.

Well they're a subsidiary of continental if I'm not mistaken.
I would agree I was very satisfied with the general winter rubber I used.

I say buy Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, they look really nice on the OEM rims.

Ok just ordered the Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 tires!

So... which tires did you end up getting?

I'm almost a month late replying, but it's been an interesting read so far. Got my BRZ with almost-done Potenza RE970AS. I do enjoy a bit more spirited drives once in a while and have explored the tires limits a few times. And since I'd like to be able to push it a little bit more, I went with a set of Potenza S04s yesterday. America's Tire matched a Costco deal, $150x4 with a $150 discount.

My criteria includes how long do I expect the tires would last. With the S04, I'm hoping to get about 2 (3?) years, since I also ride 2 motorcycles. I'd like to be able to experience a different set before too long, so I don't plan to wait 3-5 years before having to replace them.

The OEM tires seem enough if you enjoy a nice balanced and cruising drive. It'll let you know when you're at a limit early enough (and still safer I hope)... still fun. Good suggestions on the previous version of Michelins or Continentals.

You're ahead of me by a month, let me know which tires and how they feel so far.
