Here are some RG345's 17x7 +48, stock ride height and suspension. Has about the same brake clearance as the stock wheels.

Someone put Brembos that appear to be PP on their 2022 Subaru BRZ with 17" Premium wheels (same as base GR86).
I asked them on Facebook and they said they didn't need any spacers:
