Tein Flex Z 05.04.2021
Installed Tein Flex Z Coilovers. I really wanted to be lower especially in the front. I completely maxed out the coils on the lowest setting without removing any of the collars. I want to go lower but I think this is the best ride height for daily driving. I do scrape on stuff though but not too crazy but my lip and under panels are taking a beating. The is tad stiffer than the RCE lowering springs but these are adjustable so I could go full comfort mode.
Settings: 7 clicks front and 8 click rear from full stiff Clockwise is full stiff Note from Andrewtech Automotive where I got an alignment after: rear camber cannot hit target. ISC arms is adjusted to the max. Will need adjustable toe arms. I reached out to ISC to see the minimum camber I can achieve and turns out the shortest length of the LCA is the length of the stock LCA...kinda disappointed. Might have to get another alignment and increase the front camber to be 0.5 more than the rear.

Raceseng Sphereology Shift Knob 05.25.21
Installed Raceseng Sphereology Shift Knob. It is nicely weighted and I bought it off someone that painted the engraving pink which I really like. Make sure to use some thread locker on the black adapter otherwise it could end up stuck in the knob.

huge fan of the lip. Do know if it sticks out more from the grille area compared to the bumper by itself without the lip?
(measurements from the grill to the tip of the olm lip would be interesting for me to know - this is for time attack class reasons) - was planning on swapping my brz bumper to your setup. awesome build!

Thanks! It does stick out a significantly more. From the center it is 4.5” from the grill to edge. It has also as the fang like edges so measuring there it sticks out 6.5” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lexen 15% Tints 07.01.2021
Removed the 60% tints on the side windows and put on 15% Lexen Precut Ceramic Tint from eBay. First time on the 86, the passenger side cutout was not right so contacted Lexen and they sent a new one which fitted much better. Only compliant is the cutout does not curve exactly like the top of window so I couldn't get the tint edge any closer to the top edge of the window. The gap is much bigger than the professionally installed one I had but there are no light gaps from inside with the Lexen so I'm okay with it. I'm too scared of messing up the rear window with the precut so I left my old tint. Maybe one day.

VIN Number Edit 07.18.2021
Borrowed my friend's Tactrix cable to edit the VIN number on my manual ECU. Turns out I can't pass emissions without the ECU VIN matching the VIN on the registration duh. So with the help of from a free Techstream download and the cable into the OBDII port I was able to edit the VIN.
