Love how all the S2000 guys come to this forum to talk shit about our car LOL. Meanwhile @CSG Mike, also an S2000 guy, who does meaningful testing says the BRZ is superior. Then all the S2000 d1ckriders get all mad. This shit makes me ROFL.

I believe he said the chassis was superior which it is (convertible will almost always lose).

I think that they did the swap, because, now we are talking about it. Also, the S2000 is not as trendy as the FR-S as a platform. If you have a shop, another 2jz build is not going to put you on the radar. (well maybe it will) Anyway, the S2000's engine sound is enough for some to think about it.

I loved my AP1.
S2000 suspension > FR-S
FR-S practicality > S2000
S2000 Rev limit > FR-S
FRS cost to mod < S2000

I love both the Twins and the S2k but had to choose between one. If I had the funds, I'd go buy a BRZ right now as a DD.

Damn right. Why settle. I really enjoy the BRZ, but if it wasnt for my wife I would have the S2K. A blend of the two would fix my dilemma.

Well that was my DD setup until i decided to trade for the Golf R. Cushier ride and hatch make the car better for my family needs. But I still think the WRX is the better bang for the buck. One of my saleman drives a 15 WRX. I get to drive his car at the local AXs, and with a COBB stage 2 on E85...that car is a little rocket. Not perfect, but a damn fine car.

Considering my dad has an extra AP1 S2000 engine from his 2JZ S2000 he was thinking of doing this next. These engines make power way easier than the fa20

Right now its at a shop finishing up the wiring, the car is having problems with the steering (I think he said something to do with the tie rod touching something) so they might go Mustang rack, and the wiring had a problem where the alternator wasn't charging.

I'll update with the engine just sitting there in my backyard lol
