Adjusting the front is also something you need to have the wheels off for and can be tricky but not much different than other coils. Took two weekends to do, measuring, adjusting, re-measuring, settling re-adjusting. This excludes corner balance.

We used weights in the car when setting up 3x 50lbs. And then alignment we used actually driver weight plus 20lbs for gear. We found using a large meter stick with mm and micrometer was easiest for measuring. On the alignment rack we got the car level, set pressures then measured from ground to center of fender metal and placed marks for repeatability. Re-measured 3x to make sure our readings were accurate. Our initial alignment was basic because we gave a week for suspension to settle before we did anything else. Glad we did.

You can see here basically you losen the bottom lock nut and the entire shock body can be rotated to adjust height without changing pre-load.
@eckoflyte @OICU812 @mav1178 Now the issue was on the other side we could not turn the shock body by hand so we actually had to remove the shock from the control arm which made it much easier to do. We replace all nuts and suspension bolts as well so make sure you if you do what we did at the very least use red thread lock on all the bolts. Could Not Rotate Shock Body: FINALLY REMOVED SHOCK FROM ARM TO ADJUST: FYI goal to finish this video this month along with the others way behind.

Yeah @Dezoris I'm fully aware of how the height is adjusted on this setup, not much different from other coilovers I've used before for all types of different cars.
Will reserve judgment on how easy/hard it is to adjust height until I actually install the suspension, but this all just comes with the territory of owning adjustable suspension, in my opinion. -alex |
