Anyone else with ECUTEK having fuel trim issues.
I am having issues with fuel trims.
long term goes full negative and short term goes full positive. I have been told its a glitch with ecutek causing it to happen to my car. They instructed me to try reloading my tune a few times and to this point I have had no luck in resolving the issues. anyone else had or seen this issue? |

Have you shot ECUtek or your Master Tuner an email? If it's only done it since an update to ProECU then maybe try rolling back to the last known version. It's in the ECUtek directory on your laptop.

damn man, i guess your user name really is fitting. Is this the reason why your car hasn't been running correctly? Saw your posts in the JDL thread, just wondering if its all related or if the BOV spring helped correct issues (or its been this the whole time).
I'm very surprised that this wasn't picked up on a data log that i'm sure you had sent to Bill. |

Problem is we have shut off all long term fuel trims and it should not be correcting for long term at all yet the ECU still corrects. Now we did experience one car with this exact same issue and they had after market HID's (made in China). The aftermarket ballasts were only sealed in plastic, not metal like they should be. Well these ballasts give off a lot of RF signals (plastic does not protect against that) and therefore interrupt the signals to the ECU, especially on the CAN lines. When this was removed it fixed the problem in that one car. Do you have any electronics aftermarket parts in the vehicle? Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

not too bad but it needs a fix to not let fuel trims fight each other

when it goes open loop the target AFR is way leaner then measured ( and only scaled to 11 afr max rich. ( and it just maxes out sensor) the target seems way lean for boost as well assuming it petrol. I say they tuned it on tailpipe wideband. also the manifold pressure is weird maxes at 1.17 bar so only reading to 0.17 bar boost strange, i thought it was relative but looks absolute. https://datazap.me/u/bokehmon/log-16...zoom=5525-5850 Is that an abnormal manifold pressure for an edelbrock supercharger with stock everything? Thanks for the help! I'm pretty new to this stuff, so anything to help me read it correctly is much appreciated! |
