Subaru BRZ series.blue STI WHEELS

Hey there peeps! I recently bought a 2015 series.blue BRZ!
Glad to be part of the twins now. Anyway, looking to get new wheels soon so I am selling the STI wheels that came with the car.

Specs: 17x7 All around w/ 215/45/17 Michelins.
Wheels weigh 20.1lb

Mainly looking to trade for some 18x8.5 or 9.5 (Eneki, Works, Rays, etc...) I will add on my part if I think I need to.
Cash price is $1300 with tires. Not looking to ship. Located in San Diego but can meet up somewhere local.
PM or post if you have any questions, and Thank you!

A friend of mine has these on a white series blue, they look GREAT. I believe they're the same width/offset as the standard 17" wheels... If so, put some 20/25mm spacers behind them and they will fit the fenders perfectly.

Thanks for the input guys. I wanted to add spacers because these wheels are pretty sweet but a few people told me it would add a lot of stress to the wheel bearings. I was planning on doing 20/25mm or 15/20mm but I have never used spacers before so I can't say.

While wheel spacers will cause extra wear on you wheel bearings, they aren't any more harmful than wheels with less backspacing.

With that said, if we were running large, heavy off-road tires, I'd be concerned. But with our relatively lightweight small wheels, a +1" offset isn't going to damage your wheel bearings.

There's a lot of people using bolt-on wheel spacers with zero problems, even on track cars. It's just a solid block of aluminum, but the consensus is it's best to use a reputable brand. If you would rather use slip on spacers, you'll need longer studs for anything more than a few mm. They've proven plenty safe, and placing a 7" wide wheel 1" wider can't be remotely as hard on the wheel bearings as a 9.5" wide wheel with 3° of camber wrapped in super grippy tires. Even still, bearing issues seem to be extremely isolated on the 86. Other platforms might be really sensitive to bearing stress, but apparently not ours.

Good luck with the sale!

Wheels look good, GLWS.

I would pick these up but I'm not interested in the stock tires.

I'm thinking of selling mine for the same reason :/ They are sweet, but afraid of spacers.

Thought these were 17x7.5 with a pos 48 offset . I could be wrong but I ordered my set before the series blue was released from japanparts.com and they are stamped 17x7.5 still not much wider than stock tho
