19/10/2014:

This clear, sunny Sunday morning was blessed with the smell of rubber in the air and that sweet sound of tyres sreetching.

Zwartkops was a handful! with 3 events happening simultaneously:

1) Good old Loyal Skidpan - with a slow start to the morning, some good cars turned up towards lunch...with the iconic s2000, a lovely Lotus, a handful of 86's , 2 BRZ's representing Subaru's proudly and loudly!, and some other regular... boring cars (Ford ST's, RX8's, BMW's, etc etc).

Some awesome skills from @Freedom and @qbzee007 ...YOU GUYS ARE FREAKN EXPERTS on the skidpan!! I think you guys need to take a break!
@qbzee007 awesome tattoo's on your ride! Looks even more dangerous now!

Some few new faces! Hope to see you guys more regulary and join the 86 pack more often! @Roy

2) Track day: The regular's (Big boys) put their track shoes (semi slicks) on and hit the Zwartkops track hard! RGM represented well! Rob always keen on having a chat, and says he is really looking forward to next weeks Nellies Run!He says that's what the GT86/BRZ is designed for!
Saw a Red RMS 86 as well, didnt see it run thou. Rikus...looking forward to see you take on Zwartkops again
3) Autocross @ the Kart Track:

For those who are noobs like myself:
An autocross is a timed competition, in which drivers navigate one at a time through a defined course on either a sealed or an unsealed surface. Autocross differs from road racing and oval racing in that generally there is only one car on the track, racing against the clock rather than other cars.

This was one INsane FREAKN AWESOME EVENT! OH MY GOD BECKY...Look at those 911's/86 Assss slide!!!!

This was where the REAL DEAL, Extreme petrol heads put their power pumped, BooOosted Beast's to the EDGE! Fighting for the fastest times.

A wide range of Subaru Impreza's, 911's, Golfs, 206's , Citreon C2's, i20's (Lol, Yes I said i20) , z4's, etc etc...showed of their skills around the Go Kart Track.

[Boost] Turn down for WHAT?!

Entertainment award of the day went to Kaidan's Limited 86 who drifted the Go Kart Track like he was playing a video game!!!!

Insane Driving Skills! Respect!

This was my last Super Trax Event for a long time! Will be back June 2015! Till then....

  • Make sure you attend these events. If you have an 86/Brz..these events are good for your health. True Story
  • Take a few pics and share!
  • and HAVE F#CK@N FUN!!!! #GoPLAY!

That white 86 looks epic sliding around.
He is my hero.

Do the other 86 drivers drive like that as well?

Haha, well now is the best time to introduce myself.

Im Devastator, and I have a terrible addiction, I love cars and driving them to their limits.

My brother and myself both own 86 Limited Editions. As well as a few other track toys.
The white one pictured above sliding around is mine.

I hate drag racing with a passion. Ive been doing Gymkhana's and proper track events for the past 2 years. And theres nothing else like it. I spend some time at the rock as well drifting my S13.

Plans for my car is most probably a turbo kit with a GTX28 and most of it would be custom work. As well as better brakes coilovers, sways etc.
It still is one of my daily cars so I wont go full retard on it like my other cars.

Hope to see you guys at some proper driving events, I'm always around to give some advice.

Maybe...

I'm doing Midvaal on Sunday and I'll decide after that depending on how comfortable I feel with my RE11S's

Cool, I'm glad you're going for it!!
Take it all, but take it easy...
I hope your visit to Midvaal in August helped a bit...

Keep your confidence level one click below your skill level and you'll be fine!!
It's when your confidence exceeds your skill that the poop hits the fan.
