Ft86club member experience
Hi there.
I just wanted to share my experience with a few members. Last Thursday my car died during traffic time near San Jose. I knew it was my battery but because I lost my wallet two weeks ago, had not gotten to replace it. I was broke due to new job requirements and etc... My phone had been charging while driving and was at 23% when my car died. I sat in my car for over 3hrs. Waiting for friends to pick up their phone, even though, the closest was 2hrs away. Bad news after bad news...I just broke down, put my face to my hands and tears started to come out of my eyes. I felt broken and meaningless. I closed my eyes and started to pray. I did. I don't know how long I sat there when 2 strangers pulled over. One drove a blue BRZ. I won't name you here due to privacy. The other had a white Tundra and allowed me to start charging my phone. They both asked me what was wrong and I explained. BRZ guy told me not to worry. Asked me where I was going, ran to his car, came back and asked me to pop my trunk. I asked for a phone and that's all I needed I said. He said, "that won't solve your problem." I didn't understand. Next thing I know he says, "start it up." I did, it turned on. He had given me his battery. I was shocked. He then told me about the ft86club community and building a real sense of community amongst us fans. I didn't know how to thank him but he just said not to worry and told me to run on home. I was 11 hours late to where I was going. I lost your number but if you see this, please pm me your info. I really need to repay you. I know you said it's just a battery, but to me it was more. Anyway, just my experience. I've yet to have a bad irl experience with a member. Both Pack and I are grateful. Life is now back on course. The past month was the toughest month ever.
