Oh man I just received some pretty heartening info from my dealer, I've ordered a velocity orange GT 86 scheduled for November build, however my awesome salesman has informed me that they're confirmed to receive a silver GT 86 in October, my salesman has said he'll keep the silver on the side for me just in case my orange 86 order gets pushed back to a date in the new year to ensure that I will at least own an 86 this year! Just when I was starting to get jaded about Toyota salesman. I stand corrected Sir. Faith restored

To everyone facing a long wait, get this:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-24-Scal...item2a21ab0972

and you can model your customizations on it!

Hahaha yea man I still have my 99 WRX. Not sure when to sell it. If I sell it now and then find out that my car wont be delivered this year, I'll be pissed off catching train and bus to work until it arrives. I cant have that.

Does yours say scheduled for production? Mines August build and status is scheduled for production. My dealer has confirmed numerous times my 86 will roll off the production line on 27/08 (this time next week! )
So maybe original August prod got moved back cause mine was moved back from June build to this month... Hope yours will be in the August/September lot and not pushed back.

I have an NA 1990 300zx to off load, so it will not sell in a hurry

Going to have to time putting it on the market carefully so that I don't end up without a car for any long period of time.
