Reading the reviews for Forza Motorsport, from what I can tell, the overall, undisputed claim is that it is aesthetically phenomenal. Races are built into race weekends, with practice and qualifying.


Penalty system for multiplayer with a mandatory training module before entering.



Driving mechanics seem to point to a little more oversteer when compared to GT7.

It's so funny because I've seen so many people whine about the graphics left and right

And them leaving out Nur is the reason I have left Forza.
The very little they have done we've been asking for since 2.
And most of the stuff we've kept asking for has been ignored.

Gonna get it on GamePass. And try it. Then probably uninstall it like Starfield.
Same for Mirage. 2 nights in and the game is nearly 100% done.

The reflections in FM23 seem to be less than GT7, but we also have to remember that GT7 has gone through quite a few updates.
There are things that catch my attention from FM23, like the race formats.
Yes NUR is out, but like GT7, more tracks will be added for free.

I’ll try it on gamepass, currently Im into ACC, GT7, and F1. Never hurts to broaden more simulator experience.

Welp 100%ed AC: Mirage.
Feels like an old AC game (AC4 and before)
But its hella small. 15ish hrs total play time.
Got everything and READ everything too.

The amount of content there is what you would expect from a DLC not a full game.
Uninstalled and canceled the Ubi+ sub like I have for going on 4 years now.

Now to wait for FM8 (It's 8 fight me XD)

Geez, definitely will do my normal wait and pick it up during next year's summer sale then. I think AC1 was bigger than that, particularly if you 100% it (damn feathers)

I did find out why it had so little content.
It was supposed to be DLC for Valhalla.

Been playing ACC and I don’t know why I get the feeling that it is easier than GT7. The cars feel more grippy and they’re easier to control when you lose traction. Of course, the game enables TC to mid level with also ABS, so that helps. Driving without any assists becomes more challenging in both games, but ACC holds the edge.

GT7 FFB feels a little more stiff than ACC.

I do prefer the pitstops in ACC way better than GT7. Practice and Qualifying is also a welcoming feature . Which is something that it baffles me why it is not in GT7. Starting from the back means you have to truly put out perfect laps in order to catch up, so their approach is reward by out lapping the whole grid. ACC gives me the feeling that I got pole by posting a faster time and I was able to maintain it throughout the whole race.

I think the tyre mechanics is what separates both in terms realism. ACC in this sense feels more accurate.

The amount of complaining I've been seeing about Forza is making me laugh. I want to try the game out, but I think this will be another example of waiting till the holidays to pick it up.

I wouldn't even bother.
And this is from someone who left PS for Xbox for Forza.
I've owned every single Forza since it's inception.

It has a 70% 1star rating for it's reviews if that's anything to go off of.
I ground out 5hrs of play. Maybe 2-5 things that have changed are nice. The other 30+ are shit.
It has now been uninstalled and GamePass has now been canceled after this POS and Starfield.

If you do decide to try it. Get it on Gamepass so you get it for the $16 subscription at most.

Sadly, I'm still team FM4 lol. I started with FM3, peaked at FM4, and it's all been downhill since. For the time being, I'm waiting for WRC 2023 since it's basically Dirt Rally 3 by Codemasters.

I think all the OG's feel the same.
Found out their aren't even non ranked hoppers any more.

So the only way to play MP is in a ranked full collision full damage race.
Fine for some, but definitely not fine for alot of people.
And their going to start ranking people and putting you against others of you skill level. (ala iRacing)

Alright, played it for 10 minutes. Gorgeous, gorgeous game. I mean, what else can you ask for, driving on the streets or rural Japan while attacking the winding roads. Nothing better than that.

Visually its headed the right direction. Sound wise too, music. 10/10.

Driving mechanics do need work. Need to turn off ABS, TC, and some other assist that makes the car bog down whenever make a turn. Is like turning applies an engine brake. While in AT, the car cant keep up with sudden gear changes so you could be in 4th gear while initiating drift, but the game engine can’t or doesnt switch gears quick enough, therefore loosing traction and terminating drift.

Currently it only supports Logitech and Thrustmaster equivalents of the G29.

There’s a POV but it gets pretty annoying by the hand movements of the character.

Definitely check it out, I’m actually going to actively provide feedback on their discord. They got a great thing on their hands and it has great potential.
