No most modern airplanes are glued together now.

Of course, the 86 will never match the interior refinement and engine note of the cayman, no matter how much money you throw at it.

Every time I drive a different car, no matter what it is, I end up loving my FRS a little bit more.

I'm the same way, Ultramaroon. I love driving other cars of any kind, but every time I do my decision to go with a BRZ is reinforced.

Pdk and 6 cylinders behind me tho. Might keep the frs longer then a Porsche but ready for something different, hopefully by the end of this year, which I said last year after renting a base 4-banger boxster lol. Chose funemployment instead.

I’ve owned one car for 10 years now, time to be a little irrational.

Every time I drive a different car, depending on what it is, I end up missing my 2006 STi a whole lot more! The only other cars to put a smile on my face every time I drove 'em were made in Hethel, Norfolk, or Dartford Kent, UK.

I owned my 2006 STi for 13 years and hadn't planned on selling it. However, being terminated and not finding new employment forced me to make some life changes.

Yeah, but that's nostalgia. Every time I drive my FRS, I miss my 240Z.

You said it best. It's not that I don't appreciate others, I always feel satisfied when I get back into my twin.

I always end up picking apart everything else I drive and reinforces why I love the twins.

Should be swapping keys with a friend who just bought a ND2 MX5. Very much looking forward to that.

Nostalgia? No, not really. It goes far beyond that.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my BRZ. But, not in the same way. My STi fit me, went like stink, handled like no other four door sedan and like a Timex, "Took a licking and kept on ticking!"

I hear ya. I loved my Z but in reality, the chassis was a rusty mess, and the original cabin vents on the hatch poisoned me with exhaust gasses unless I ran the blower full bore.
