LOL

If you want a convertible, buy a Miata/MX-5.
If you want a coupe, buy a BRZ/FR-S.

Simple.

Yeah I saw someone post on facebook about that car and the sunroof caused numerous problems - chief of which it leaked water like a sieve. Hell you can see the gaps in the photo!

Owner sold it off not that long after....funny that. #ruined

To do it properly you'd need a whole new roof panel for starters and that's not even getting into the structural side of things.

Be a pretty tiny sunroof to fit in the flat space.
...and it would need just as much bracing as a convertible/targa would need since you would be cutting one of the main support structures in the roof (see skeleton below). To replace it you would have to do some type of box structure connecting fore and aft.

It does look like you could do some type of semi-T Top thingy but it would require a new roof panel removing the channel that runs down it now.

For what it is worth, an idea I have a few years down the line is make a 'roadster' like Cartel Customs did with their red and white FR-S. I am a big vintage racing guy, and this is a sort of throwback to the roadsters of the mid 20th century. I would use a shell that I would find for cheap to tinker, and if i made it work out structurally then id apply it to a normal car. Biggest thing is get a better livery than Cartel Customs haha
