Any Interest in Laurel/College Park or UMBC Meetup ? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

So I have noticed in the spotted threads and some of the other one's there is a decent amount of members in or around the Laurel/College Park area. Just throwing this out as an idea. Would anyone be interested in a monthly mini-meet.

I was thinking as a possible location the Ikea parking lot in College Park right off 495. This location is pretty accessible and in the middle of a lot of areas so anyone from Silver Spring to Columbia pretty much would be within 20-30 mins. There is tons of places around for food incase people wanted to get wings or something. Also if anyone is interested we could have a post-meet cruise on the highway or some nearby backroads if there are any good ones.

I know the year is coming to an end so there's not a lot of time this year, maybe we could get a meet or two in, but wanted to get this idea out there and see what y'all think and maybe pick up next year with some more of these.

Also, if there's enough of us at UMBC we could do something similar at UMBC and take over one of the parking lots lol.

Ok, If we can get at least 5 or 6 interested I think that would be enough for a mini-meet.

I have a few friends that would be interested in coming to hang out even though they don't have a twin, there in old integra's and wrx's so if you guys wanna involve friends lemme know. Once we get a decent number together I can try to start throwing out some dates.

We use to do a Mini Meet on Thursday Evenings at Green Turtle in Columbia, if we want to start that up again we can. Its more so for the Laurel/Columbia Crew not the CP Crew although its a 15/20 min drive.

Im down with that. Im in Laurel so it works for me. Also I know Columbia has some good back roads not too far from that area for post meet cruises for those interested
