I appreciate your kind words. I don't think most people really understand how much goes on behind the scenes to get parts made. I was out there hyping companies up about this car before it was released and getting them convinced that there would be a sizable market. Then, its a matter of organizing things so that generous vehicle owners get hooked up with reputable companies in the most efficient way possible.

I've been involved in Motorsport from the participant side since four years old and professionally for the last ten years. Anyone not involved in the field just sees us show up to race and assumes that's all we do. It's the things that happen away from the track that make you successful. I understand the work that was put into this on your part and I hope others do as well.

I am hopeful that we will find a company or two willing to help us put the FRS on the podium at SCCA National events and in turn we can help them develop parts that the mass market will trust as "race proven" hardware.

If I got it done in a Mini, I'm confident the same can be achieved with this platform!

Out of curiosity, has anyone contacted MacNeil Automotive in regards to their Weathertech Floorliners? I've used them in my FA5 Civic and absolutely adored them for the driver/front passenger floors.

Yes I contatcted about Weathertech trunk mat.

Their reply:
Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive- Weathertech,

The 2013 Scion FR-S will not be approved by our engineer department until late Fall; there is a chance it could be released sooner however it most likely will not be released until lFall. The 2013 model is a new body style which causes us to create new products/ parts for the vehicle. If you would like to fill out our product request form: http://www.weathertech.com/service/p...-request-form/ we can notify you once the 2013 Scion FR-S becomes available. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email us back.

Best Regards!

Love their digital Fit lineup but may not work too friendly with a manual.

We are picking up our FR-S this weekend and will begin production of a bolt on turbo kit! Hopefully well be able to get our hands on an EFR 6258 Borg Warner, if not, well go with a GTX28 Garrett. Stay tuned!

Just a heads up: Several vendors are going to start releasing intakes/exhausts this month...so everyone who helped out with R&D...THANK YOU!

Tuning, hood struts, aero, and more suspension options are confirmed to be out in July as well...this is going to be a good month

*** I will be contacting camshaft vendors after this week to see who wants to make something to really wake the car up (along with a good tune)
