Sorry, nope. I don't "do" controllers unless it's a flight/driving sim controller. I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer going back to the early PC days and have never managed to transition to controllers. I do use them (obviously) on the occasional console game when forced to by my sons, but I don't really enjoy the experience.

Another side note, I used to work for a company that had a division named "Cryovac". When Microsoft Mail (the predecessor to Outlook/Exchange) came out with their Windows version, the spell check would autocorrect the name to "scrotum" (I have no idea why). It made for some interesting messages.

"I was at the main Scrotum office today and their marketing plan will definitely improve Scrotum's image to the general public."

Ironiically, Cryovac's primary business is packaging. In particular they make the bags that poultry (like turkeys) are packed in. So, in a way both are "pouches" other things fit in.

you can often get the samsung odyssey on sale for like ~200 bucks.

Definitely worth it at that price. First time using VR is a holy shit type moment.

Also if anyone does apex, add me!

There's your problem I think. This is one of those games that needs a controller.

I have an Optimus Quest and think it's definitely worth the money as an entry. Get the low end memory version, the extra memory is just for storage, and you can reload games easily.

For casual games (like Elven Assassin, Drunken Bar Fight, Beat Saber, etc it works great untethered). Then you can either tether it or use remote desktop to your gaming PC for the higher end games.

True, I had Odyssey+ before my Index and it's great. It's a much better bang for buck than the Index. That said the Index's experience is still much Better.

I finished Deus Ex Revision; it took me 79 hours in easy mode with some in game parameters changed via the Revision menu. For example: each item only takes up one space in my inventory so I could carry a lot more gear. I loved exploring even though the maps are quite small by today's standards.

Looking at the latest batch of videos of Cyberpunk 2077 I'm thinking this game could easily suck up a few hundred hours of my life.

Deus Ex visual density: the hard space between galaxies.
CP2077 visual density: neutron star.

My reason for mentioning these two games in the same post is I think CP 2077 is a modern version of Deus Ex times 3.7x10^10.

The last week I have been playing League of Legends for a change (switched from CS GO). Great game I must admit. Couldn't even think that I would like it that much But still my pick is WoW. Despite its difficulty in some particulatr missions it is my top #1 game. Btw if the mission becomes impossible to accomplish as a rule I ask pro gamers at SkyCoach https://skycoach.gg/wow-boost for help.

My sons and I have been doing 3 and 4 coop on Risk of Rain 2. It's a decent game for an hour or so time suck.
