[OFT] Can I simply delete cold start from Stock Tune?

I am not ready to do a Stage 1 just yet. But can I just put the Stock Tune into RomRaider and dial down the Ignition Timing Post Start and Idle Control Targets, and then re-upload to the ECU?

Basically the only tune mod I want right now is Cold Start Delete.

I don’t see why not. Just save the file as a different file name (make a copy of the file) and upload.

Is there any reason you don't want to do the Stage 1? It should just refine the stock tune and make it a little smoother with a mild bump in power. If you're going to the effort of flashing the car, I just don't get why you wouldn't.

Why no stage1? This makes no sense to me, it's not that aggressive compared to stock in the first place

Just get stage 1 tune with cold start delete. You will have no issues. It’s worth it. Your warranty won’t last forever, if that’s your reason.

Thanks guys. I have a petty reason. I just got my FRS out the body shop, it was there for like 6 weeks. I wanted to keep the stock tune while I get reacclimated with my car. But I suppose you are right, just go to Stage 1 or don't do anything at all.

Besides, I can only pull my Stock .ORI file from OpenFlash Tablet, I can not open this .ORI file in RomRaider anyway.

I will flash Stage 1 when it stops raining in a day or two.
