Was able to order a Neptune/manual/premium at MSRP. Originally was looking for a Halo white but not into the pearly whites so decided to go with a “fun” color for once in my life 😂

My tastes seem to track pretty well with Tauchiya’s, so I think I’m right in going with the GR. I like cars that preserve the naughtiness. I can appreciate cars that run moistly but I got enough of that with my VW TDI years back.

We (girlfriend and I) will be getting our Neptune Blue GR86 in 2 weeks. I'll post pics of it when we pick it up

I have seen a Neptune Blue GR86 in person this weekend and it was just stunning!

The author will post his photos soon, but I have to warn you that the color is so deep and "shiny" that photos really don't do it justice.
I took some photos with my Pixel 6 (which is considered one of the top camera phones as of today) and compared the photo with the car, and the real car was much brighter than it looked on the photo. I tried playing with various camera settings (exposure, etc.) and still couldn't match it well. Out of this world, huh?

Here's the closest I could get:

As someone who owns a Gen 1 red BRZ, which color do you like better? I am stuck deciding between Red and Neptune Blue.
