If you leave them alone long enough you never know what you may get.

She said AT does not come with Torsen differential. My AT FR-S came with Torsen, did they change this?

Edit: I just checked. All 86's are Torsen.

I feel like this car should have included the TRD package.

It did in Japan. Most likely didn't here to keep the price own.

PP wheels, brake and suspension would have made me trade in for one. The aero would have been a bit much.

I truly don't care about those and would NOT want the aero on that particular car.
Like the RS2 it is pretty much just a more 'grown up' appearance package and focuses on a different group than the PP cars do. About as much of a polar opposite of my lowered, noisy, flashy, bare bones Lava FRS as you can get but I am still happy with that.

Agreed. I have enjoyed my 2015 FR-S immensely and used it as a daily driver. Were it quieter, I would consider it a GT car instead of a sports car. My 2020 Hakone adds some creature comforts without giving up much else and has a nice, conservative appearance. Perfect for me since it will be my new daily driver. I didn't want the PP stuff since I want stock (quieter) exhaust and ability to use 16" rims in winter.

I also use 16" and that was certainly a consideration when I was cross shopping with the BRZ Sport Tech with PP. I am going to give the stock exhaust a go but was very fond of the sound of the TRD on the Lava so may change out. I know my neighbours will appreciate the stock though.

If you want (prob not) to get 4/2 piston calipers, Subaru 4/2 piston calipers will clear 16's.

Normal stock are just fine for my old lady street driving style.

Yup, that's what I assume as well. Just a food for thought.

Here are a few of my Hakone. Bought it in December, finally had the first oil change at 1000 miles the other day. Dealer told me that the manuals don't sell well. Wished he had more automatics.
