Huge difference. Night and day. Energy goes directly into the pan. The pan itself is the heating element.

Those should be fine, they are pretty much top of the heap as far as that class of street tire. I like the ECS for it's rain performance, but I highly doubt your Lotus sees rain intentionally and the MPS4s is better in the dry. The Hankook V12 Evo 3's are okay for their price, but performance wise I was not that impressed compared to similar tires in that class.

Mum's Yaris is an auto but I play around with the gear selector a lot. The car I will probably get to replace the Yaris and the BRZ *sigh* has to be an auto (it has paddles) so I would still get to do something regarding gear selection. This is actually the biggest reason for me not to get a hybrid; one gear, no say in the matter.

My buddy read the news of how 400Z starting price is <$35k & telling me how it’s cheaper than he call it “Zupra” (he’s anti-BMW) & more powerful than the twins. Try to trigger me... but I just gave him thumbs up. Good for Nissan for try to keep bringing the Z. Don’t have much interest in the Z. That include every gen Z. Never had & prob never will. THAT triggered him instead. Even though he never owned one nor even thinking of buying one lol

I would want to know how many trim levels they will offer and just what you get for $35K before I decided if it was a good deal or not. I discovered a long time ago that a lower price does not automatically mean a good deal when it comes to cars.

Haha just like Vette, you can technically get base model <$60k... but do they actually sell em? or dealership to stock base is totally different question.

I dunno why anyone has to get triggered.

I don't think I'd be interested in it either, but I'm glad Nissan isn't turning away from making somewhat low-end sports cars. Nice to know some manufacturers are still putting a bit of effort into that segment.

Same with the Supra, although I do like it a bit. So what it looks and feels BMW-ish? Better than nothing.

Yeah... he just want to trigger me, cuz he went through shitty days w BMW and Subaru. Now pissed off at Toyota for not making 86 & Supra by themselves. So now anytime he see anything to put down Supra/86 or Toyota, he forward that article. Which IDC much nor would I get triggered.

Other than automotive topic, he's a fine kid... just not automotive topic lol
